Falling Walls Lab is a challenging, inspiring and interdisciplinary format for outstanding talents, innovators, and high potentials with ground-breaking ideas. In 3-minute talks, participants have the opportunity to share their research projects, business models or social initiatives relevant to the world today with their peers, the interested public, and a distinguished jury - promoting ideas and fostering interdisciplinary networks. The best presentation wins a trip to the Falling Walls Lab Finale in Berlin and a ticket to attend the Falling Walls Conference.
Royal Society Te Apārangi, in collaboration with the German Embassy in Wellington, invites applications from New Zealand and Pacific Island Forum (PIF) nation academics, entrepreneurs, students and professionals from all disciplines to participate in Falling Walls Lab New Zealand. Applications to take part in Falling Walls Lab New Zealand had to be submitted by 5pm Friday 22 June 2018.

Falling Walls Lab New Zealand takes place on Monday 10 September 2018 at the Royal Society Te Apārangi in Wellington for up to 20 New Zealand-based applicants and up to two PIF nation-based applicants.
