Payment is in cash (New Zealand Dollars based on current exchange rate) or by credit/debit card (Visa/Master) only. Payments by credit card will be charged in Euros.

Pursuant to an EU Council decision of 1 June 2006, visa fees for nationals of the following countries, except for cases where the general fee exemptions above apply, are 65 NZD:
- Albania
- Bosnia and Herzegovina
- North Macedonia
- Montenegro
- Serbia
