The German Embassy in Wellington has funded of a series of projects in Fiji  to help tackling a  Covid-related increase  of domestic violence against women and girls.In cooperation with the GIZ and House of Sarah- Anglican Diocese of Polynesia , the first Workshop took place  in the rural village of Nabunikadamu,. The photo are shows the group of women and men working together for a better mutual understanding in their couple´s relationships to prevent violence at it´s very roots.

The Women and Children Crisis Centre (WCCC) with the support of a Small Grants Fund from the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany has recently completed its rollout of gathering  information for a survey that is looking into the impact of COVID19 on women. After months of planning, WCCC has finally landed in Niuatoputapu/ Tonga to roll out its ULOA community outreach and mobile counselling.
